Former city commissioner pleads guilty to role in bribery and corruption scheme

Another player in the city of Opa-locka corruption scheme has pleaded guilty to their role. Former Opa-locka commissioner Luis Santiago pleaded guilty to his role Tuesday in the two-year long bribery and extortion scheme, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of Florida announced.
